The six-pack of players named to the all-conference team matches last year's total and is the second-highest total in program history. The Cougars had seven players named All-A.I.I. in 2011.
For Dodson, it marks the second-straight season in which she has been named to the First Team. Despite moving from the midfield to left back, she is tied for second on the team with three goals. She will graduate in second place in CSUSM history in career assists. Through Friday evening, Dodson had 11 for her four-year career and one this season.
Sears, a goalkeeper from Cypress, has been named A.I.I. First Team in each of her first two seasons at CSUSM. This year, she has posted a .45 goals against average and a .829 save percentage. She's played a role in nine Cougar shutouts and has allowed just seven goals all season.
Luna, also a two-time A.I.I. First Team honoree, anchors a Cougar back line that has allowed just a .51 goals against average in 2013. She has started all 12 of 14 matches this year.
Good is a first-time All-A.I.I. selection. She currently leads the Cougars in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11). In addition, she has started all 16 contests for the Cougars after missing a chunk of 2012 due to injury. Good scored CSUSM's second goal in its 3-1 victory over Georgia Gwinnett in the A.I.I. semifinals on Friday night.
Searl and Lara are both first-time All-A.I.I. selections. Searl has started all 16 games for the Cougars along the right flank, providing a solid line of defense while providing quality services off CSUSM free kicks.
Lara is tied for second on the team with three goals. She also has an assist for seven total points. She has scored two game-winning goals this year.
