The NAIA's top ranked Cougars closed out the tournament with a 4-1 record for the third consecutive season, despite being the only NAIA team in the field.
Game 1: CSUSM 9 – CSU Monterey Bay 3
CSUSM grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the first inning on the back end of a double-steal as

The Cougars and Warriors played to scoreless draw through the bottom of the fourth inning until Stanislaus scored on an RBI single to take a 1-0 lead. CSUSM responded back immediately in the fifth when
Melyssa Bellamy crossed the plate on an error to tie the score at one apiece.
The Warriors pushed another run across in the bottom of the fifth to retake the lead 2-1, but the Cougars pieced together a seventh inning rally, ignited by Brogan Hoesnisch's leadoff single. Freshman catcher
