VICTORIA, Texas – Paulina Good of the Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team has been named the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Female Athlete of the Week for the week of September 15-21.
Good, a 5-foot-8 junior from Yorba Linda, Calif., switched positions moving from midfield and playing striker for the first time in her Cougar career. She scored twice in leading No. 15 CSUSM to a 2-0 win over previously unbeaten Biola (6-1) on Saturday, Sept. 20 and then notched the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Rocky Mountain College on Sunday, Sept. 21.
The Cougars take a breather this week before hosting Embry-Riddle on Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Multipurpose Field at 1 p.m.
