SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team suffered another close loss on Tuesday afternoon at Point Loma, falling 1-0 to the Sea Lions at PLNU Soccer Field.
The Cougars are still in search of their first victory and drop to 0-2-2 on the season. PLNU improves to 3-2.

Allie Jara one-on-one for the game's only goal in the 76
th minute.
PLNU outshot the CSUSM 13-4 and earned nine corner kicks compared with zero on the afternoon.
Paulina Good nearly got the Cougars on the board in the 18
th minute, but her header on-frame was saved by PLNU keeper Ariel Oriarte.
The Cougars will play their inaugural matches in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) this weekend at The Cougar Den. CSUSM hosts Cal State San Bernardino on Friday at 12:30 p.m. before welcoming Cal Poly Pomona Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
