The 2018 Mangrum Invitational is for four-year College Teams only.

We are doing our entries on www.directathletics.com. Entries are due by Wednesday, February 21st at 6:00 pm. I will do my best to accommodate you with any changes that need to be made on race day.


Field Events: 4 throws/jumps, we will only mark the best throw by each competitor.

Implement weigh in: Will take place by the finish line starting at 8:30 am.

Starting heights: will be determined by athletes and officials

Facilities: 8 lane Polyurethene track, all runways the same material. Spike size inch for running events, long jump, triple jump and pole vault, Javelin and high jump up to 3/8"

Trainer: Our training room will be fully staffed, please bring your own supplies. For information, please contact Michelle Hamilton at 760-750-7111.

Timing: We are using Finished Results , field events will be measured in the metric system. Wind gauges will be used for jumping and sprint events.

Results: Will be available on our website within 2 hours after the completion of the meet.

Fees: $600 per team or $300 per gender. Please make checks payable to CSUSM Foundation.

Directions: From the 5 take the 78 east, from the 15 take the 78 west, get off at Twin Oaks Valley Rd and go South. At the first stop light past Barham, go left into the dirt parking lot labeled Lot Z. Parking is free for all athletes and spectators in Lot Z.

There are few stands, but plenty or grass to set up camp. It will be hot, so bring tents!
